Salary: £ 27,000 - 37,000 (depending on experience when working 5 days)
Type: 4 or 5 days per week

About the role

The Lettingweb development team are looking for a .NET developer to join our small team. You will be responsible for improving the existing functionality of Lettingweb.com, adding new functionality, supporting QA and providing support to our Customer Success Team. To achieve this you will use a wide variety of technologies.

You should be confident in your web development abilities and be able to leverage new technology, lead the development of a range of projects, working closely and collaboratively with the development and marketing team within a fast paced, ever changing environment.

Role Responsibilities:

In this role you will be expected to:

  • Participate in the software development cycle, from gathering and understanding requirements to design, support and maintenance
  • Deliver expertise across multiple projects
  • Work closely with other Developers and the wider business
  • Contribute to the continual development of code and systems
  • Work with our Customer Success Team to resolve issues

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software development
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented programming and design, especially utilising Microsoft .NET using C#.
  • Basic knowledge of building relational databases.
  • Basic knowledge of building integration using.NET to third party systems.
  • Basic knowledge of web development.
  • An enthusiasm to learn new technologies and tools, and to learn on the fly.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-moving dynamic environment.
  • Desired skills:
  • Experience in developing with SQL Server
  • Experience with source code management and version control
  • Experience of modern IDEs such as Visual Studio Professional or similar
  • Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, Bootstrap, jQuery, Javascript & CSS
  • Experience with any JavaScript frontend framework
  • Experience using GIT
  • Experience using Amazon Web Services

Pension: We operate a SIPP scheme through Hargreaves Landsdown.
Holiday: 28 days per annum - We close the office on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day (so you can work bank holidays if you wish). Team members get one extra day of holiday for each year of service to the company up to a maximum of 5 days.
