The figures noted under the Total cost of living for any property on Lettingweb.com are shown as a guide only and represent an estimate for what the tenant or tenants could expect to pay on a monthly basis for Energy (Gas and Electricity), Council tax including water charges and the rent. It is important to remember that when budgeting for renting any property, there will be other costs that should be accounted for on top such as telephone and broadband, TV services, insurance and general living costs for food and household functions.
Specifically, the Energy figure is provided from the last available energy performance certificate (EPC) to enable prospective buyers and tenants to compare the fuel costs of one home with another. To enable this comparison the figures have been calculated using standardised running conditions (heating periods, room temperatures, etc.) that are the same for all homes, consequently they are unlikely to match an occupier's actual fuel bills in practice. The figures do not include the impacts of the fuels used for cooking or running appliances, such as TV, fridge etc.; nor do they reflect the costs associated with service, maintenance or safety inspections. Packing crates competition
Lettingweb's promotion for a free packing crate is run externally by Removal Services Scotland, and any liability for sending out the crates lies with them.
The contest will run only until the 100 crates allowance has been fulfilled. Any users signing up to alerts after that point will not receive anything.
Sending of the crates is dependent on your details being sent to Removal Services Scotland, which you must undertake yourself.
Edinburgh Fringe Competition Terms
- The current closing date for the contest is 19th May, although this may be subject to change. The winner will be announced shortly after.
- Lettingweb reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition or the Rules without notice if given reasonable grounds to do so.
- The prize available in the contest may be replaced with a similar prize of equal value by Lettingweb. The winner may not request to change the prize.
- Entrants must be residents of the United Kingdom when the competition is entered.
- Lettingweb reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the Rules.
- There is no purchase requirement to enter a Competition. There is no charge to register with Lettingweb.
- Prize winners will be decided by Lettingweb, although the means of winner-selection is subject to change.
- Prize winners will be notified in the manner and within the time specified on the Competition Notice. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable or failure to reply as specified in the notification (and within the time stated) may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. If more than one prize is awarded only one prize per entrant will be awarded. Competition winner(s)' names may be published by Lettingweb on any platform they so choose.
- Claims for prizes must be made in the manner and within the time specified when the winner is announced. Failure to claim a prize within this time or in the manner specified may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
- Prizes are non–transferable and there is no cash alternative. Lettingweb reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.
