In order to minimise physical contact, the Scottish government have introduced precautionary measures to make the viewing process safer for all parties. Please read on fora brief guide about how to navigate the current rental market. Keep in mind that whilst viewing and moving properties, the safety of you and those around you should remain imperative.
Step 1. Prescreening
Letting agents are encouraged to pre-screen tenants before they are offered a physical viewing. By using our MyRentalCV referencing tool to store all of your rental information, agents will be safe in the knowledge that you are a suitable tenant.
Step 2. Watching a Virtual Viewing
Virtual viewings will give you a better feel for the property and determine where you’d like to apply for a physical viewing, from the safety and comfort of your own home.
Step 3. Attending a Controlled Viewing
Once you are invited to an in-person viewing, safety will be priority. You will be advised to wear a face covering, not touch surfaces where possible and adhere to the 2m distancing.
If you have any of the following symptoms, or have been in contact with anyone showing these symptoms in the past 14 days, you will unfortunately be unable to attend a physical viewing:
A high temperature
A new, continuous cough
A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
If you are attending a physical viewing, your safety is vital. We advise that all parties arrive with a face covering, and wear it at all times during the viewing. You are then responsible to safely dispose or keep your own face covering. This cannot be done inside the property you are viewing.
Pebble Mountain Properties is proud to be representing this classy, 3 bedroom furnished property based on Bedford Place, a stone's throw from the University of Aberdeen...
Once in a while, one of those classic properties that all letting agents drool over comes onto the market. This is such a property that has been lovingly looked after and prepared for only the finest of tenants... Do you fit the bill?
Bedford Place is conveniently located on the outskirts of Old Aberdeen and only a short 5 minute walk from the University.
The huge Sainsburys supermarket is situated nearby at Berryden Retail Park and PureGym is also a short walk (jog) at Kittybrewster, literally at the end of the road...
Although not HMO registered, this property has three bedrooms in total - two on the first level and then an attic bedroom tucked away via its own spiral staircase which leads up from the amazing kitchen. The third bedroom therefore is ideal for occasional use or visitors only if students intend to rent this property, however for families - this property is ideal!
There is a staircase leading up from the front door which leads to the first floor and the majority of rooms including the two main bedrooms, both of which are doubles, the large living room which has just had two brand new sofas installed and the retro-style bathroom.
The kitchen can also be found here and with plenty of cupboard and storage space throughout, there is also the hidden staircase as previously mentioned that leads up to the attic bedroom. On the other side of the kitchen a small but perfectly functional Utility Room can be found which looks after the washing machine, etc...
There is finally a door that leads down to the garden which is shared with the resident downstairs...
Viewing is highly recommended as this stand-out ready to move into home won't be available for long!
